Turning Setbacks into a Solution

When the transmission went out on their vehicle, Marquail Parham and Darius Jackson went to America's Car-Mart of Carrollton, Ga. They had heard so many good stories from others. And they weren't disappointed.

Less than an hour later, they were on their way in their 2019 Hyundai Sonata. "We are so in love with it," smiles Marquail. "Car-Mart exceeded our expectations. They're so sweet."

Darius adds that the Car-Mart associates greeted them upon their arrival, and they immediately felt like family. "They were so warm and welcoming when we walked in. It felt like family," he adds. "Once we got help from Car-Mart, our entire day changed. It was so amazing."

"I will tell my friends and family to come here [Car-Mart]. They have good cars at good prices, and they'll take care of you," says Marquail.

14 Vehicles, But Who’s Counting

"I wouldn't trade Car-Mart for anything," says long-time Car-Mart customer Rebecca Kurtz, Henderson, Ky., who has purchased 14 vehicles from America's Car-Mart of Henderson in the last 20+ years.

Such is the sentiment that Rebecca has for Car-Mart. Every other Friday, she journeys to Car-Mart to make her payments where she's greeted with smiles. And when it's time for a new vehicle, Car-Mart is the place for her.

Rebecca's first car purchased at Car-Mart was a Toyota Tribune when her daughter turned 17. A few years later, she gave that car to her daughter. Through the years, she and her husband purchased many other vehicles from the Henderson Car-Mart, both cars and trucks. Rebecca's current vehicle is a Chevrolet Cruze.

What keeps Rebecca coming back to Car-Mart?

Here's why Rebecca is loyal to Car-Mart:

Car-Mart's vehicles – "Car-Mart stands behind their vehicles. If you do have an issue with your vehicle, talk to them, and they'll take care of you. A lot of car places don't have this."

Sales associate – "Chris Bridges keeps me coming back. He's a sweetheart. He knows how to communicate. And he's awesome at what he does. He'll work with you. And he makes sure he gets you into a vehicle that you can afford."

The Car-Mart team – "They treat you like family. I know them by name, and they know me. They're just awesome people."

The car-buying process – "Car-Mart does a great job of explaining everything to me. After my third and fourth vehicle, it got easy for me. Now it's 15-20 minutes, and I'm on my way."

The optional service contracts – "They save and help in the long run. We once needed a major repair. I only had to pay the $75 deductible to get it fixed. If you have this, you have a helping hand right there."

Side note: Rebecca's favorite Car-Mart vehicle was a red 2006 Pontiac Grand Am. She had it for three weeks when 75-mile an hour wind took down a three-ton oak tree across the top of her car. It was off to Car-Mart. Fortunately, Rebecca had the optional Accident Protection Plan, so she was able to quickly get into another vehicle.

Car-Mart is trustworthy – "I trust Car-Mart. And they treat you with the utmost respect."

Finally, Rebecca appreciates how Car-Mart keeps her on the road. "Every time I need a car, I know I can go to Car-Mart and get one. I've never been turned down. I couldn't ask for a better car place."

Nine is Mighty Fine

"We didn't have a lot of credit. We went to Car-Mart, and they went out of their way to make sure we drove away happy."

That was the sentiment of customers Tammie and Albert Jordan when they bought their first vehicle at America's Car-Mart of Fayetteville, Ark. in 1994. They're a two-car Car-Mart family, they're on their ninth Car-Mart vehicle, and they won't go to any other Car-Mart.

It's the people, the vehicles, the service, and Car-Mart's compassion that keep the Jordan's returning to Car-Mart. While Tammie and Albert married in 2021, they've been Car-Mart customers for nearly 30 years.

"Car-Mart is there for us!"

Brad Wilson, General Manager, and Stacy Chavarria, Assistant Manager, always take time to walk them through the lot to find the right vehicle for them. Plus, they listen to the Jordan's about their requirements. And when Albert experienced some medical issues, Car-Mart helped with payment arrangements.

"They're always willing to help us. They'll ask, ‘how long?,' and they make sure we can afford the payment. They're considerate and helpful," says Tammie, who added Car-Mart is also helpful when their vehicles need repairs. Tammie and Albert always buy the Service Contract Plus. "We buy it for peace of mind," says Albert. "We don't have that extra money in case something goes wrong."

The Jordans also appreciate Car-Mart's no-pressure environment. "The Car-Mart associates are friendly, and they take care of their customers," Tammie says.

Once, when their car broke down on their way out of town, Car-Mart helped them. Another time, when they wrecked one of their vehicles, Car-Mart helped them.

"Car-Mart is family!"

"Tammie and Albert are the customers you love to see walk in. They're always so pleasant, and you know they will always keep their word," says Brad. "We are very fortunate to have such loyal customers like the Jordans. And because of our relationship with them over the years, it's always a pleasure to assist them with whatever they need. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, for all your business for the last almost 30 years."

"We can go to Brad or Stacy with any problem, and they'll be there for us," says Tammie. "We won't go to any other car-Mart!"
