When Zuleika Ortiz needed something spiffy to drive around town, she went to America’s Car-Mart of Dothan, Ala. And it was Car-Mart to the rescue with Zuleika’s dream car!
“I needed something for myself,” smiles Zuleika, a first-time Car-Mart customer. She knew nothing about Car-Mart, but the inventory selection at Car-Mart piqued her interest.
Zuleika shared her vision of her dream car with Chris Monroe, Assistant Manager, who found a 2017 black Ford Mustang convertible for her. “It’s in perfect condition. It’s the best ever,” Zuleika says. “As soon as I drove it – with the top down – I wanted that vehicle!”
“Impossible becomes a possibility at Car-Mart of Dothan,” says Chris. “And we’re thrilled to make it happen for Zuleika.”
“Car-Mart cares about you”
Once Zuleika drove that vehicle, it was up to Chris and the Car-Mart team to get her on her way. She was appreciative of the quick and easy car-buying process. “They were exceptional. They also made me feel comfortable and welcome,” she comments. Plus, Zuleika, who purchased the optional service contract, learned Car-Mart will be there for her from purchase to payoff. “If something happens with the car, they’ll help get it fixed,” she says. “You’d be crazy not to get this. You just pay a $75 deductible, and Car-Mart will take care of it.”
“Car-Mart will look out for you,” continues Zuleika, who says Car-Mart worked with her despite her not-so-perfect credit.
“We work hard to get our wonderful customers into vehicles they can afford and will enjoy driving. It was fun and so rewarding to see Zuleika smile with her convertible. There is nothing better than that,” says Venessa Thompson, General Manager, Dothan, who also uses a bible verse to describe how she approaches her customers – “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16.
Now, about that Mustang
“The convertible is just mine,” says Zuleika, who also owns a Buick Enclave, the family car for her five children. “I’ve never had anything like this [Mustang]. It feels great. She drives like a beauty! I haven’t stopped driving it.”
When asked if she’ll recommend Car-Mart, she’ll say, “just look at my Mustang. Car-Mart kept me on the road by giving me something beautiful.”
