Car-Mart is a great place to work
“I love Car-Mart. I love how Car-Mart cares about its associates, customers, and communities,” says Dani Tyler, General Manager at Car-Mart of Farmington, Mo. “When I go to work every day, it’s not just another day at work; it’s a special place.”
“We have fun. We help customers, and in many cases, we give them a new start. Throughout the year, we do something for the community, delivering food baskets and collecting fans and canned goods. We make a difference in people’s lives,” Dani adds. “Car-Mart has been good to me and my family. And I wouldn’t change anything I’ve done with Car-Mart. This is a company where I want to be.”
Dani started her Car-Mart career in May 2006 as an Account Representative in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She quickly discovered that Car-Mart was a place where she could have a career and a company she wanted to retire from. Dani then served as Assistant Manager in Poplar Bluff before being named General Manager in Madisonville, Ky., and Farmington, Mo. She received Car-Mart’s 2023 President’s Award, which is annually given to an associate who goes above and beyond and lives out the company’s mission, vision, and values.
About the America’s Greatest Workplaces List
The list was compiled based on over 389,000 company reviews by employees working for U.S. companies with a workforce of at least 1,000 or more. Participants ranked companies on criteria including corporate culture, work/life balance, training and career progression, compensation and benefits, and diversity.
