Three’s a charm for America’s Car-Mart as we proudly share our third consecutive Communitas Award win for our Holiday Toy Drive.
In our 15th year of hosting our toy drive, we collected over 31,016 toys and shared them with 31 hospitals across our 12-state area. This tradition began in 2008 when our Chief Operating Officer experienced the tremendous impact of children’s hospitals firsthand. Every year, our toy drive gets bigger and better, as it’s a labor of love for our company. This year, vendor partners adopted this cause, and our hospital partners assisted with planning and media coverage.
Toys deliver joy and comfort to kids in the hospital. That’s why we believe in the power of our toy drive. By coming together to donate toys, we positively impact children’s lives.

The Communitas Award – Honoring Excellence in Community Service & Social Responsibility
The Communitas Awards is an international effort to recognize the spirit of communitas—people helping people. Communitas is inspired by the vision of a better world and attempts to do something about it through volunteerism, investment, and ethical, sustainable business practices.
