For over 20 years, America’s Car-Mart has been a big part of Heidi and Mike Dudley’s lives and family when it comes to transportation. They’re a three-car Car-Mart family. Since the early 2000’s, they’ve purchased 21 vehicles from various Car-Mart locations, including Berryville, Arkansas, Springfield North, Missouri, Centerton, Arkansas, and West Plains, Missouri.
Mike is the ‘No Muss No Fuss’ Buyer. He knows what he wants and what he wants to pay. Plus, he’s looking for quality and dependability. Heidi is the ‘Window Shopper.’ She enjoys checking out what’s on the lot.
So, what inspires the Dudley’s to continue to shop at America’s Car-Mart for their vehicles?
“It’s easy,” Mike says. “Car-Mart takes care of us.”
“It’s the little things,” adds Heidi. “We could tell you a hundred different reasons why we keep going back to America’s Car-Mart, but mainly they do right by us.”
Plus, it’s Car-Mart’s quality vehicles. It’s an easy sales process. It’s the optional service contract plus. It’s the people. Car-Mart cares about them.
The Dudley’s like to shop different used vehicles; when they do, they head to Car-Mart. Pamela Turley, General Manager at Car-Mart of West Plains, Mo., was recently delighted to call Heidi and Mike to tell them they had what they were looking for – an Infiniti QX56.
“So, we went to Car-Mart and bought it,” says Heidi. “Pamela took care of us. The sales process was quick and seamless. We went to West Plains because of Pamela.”
“I’ve sold used vehicles to Heidi and Mike for years! They’re great customers and a part of our Car-Mart family,” says Pamela. “I have some history with the Dudley’s going back to when I was a Sales Associate. It’s super cool to continue to have these folks as customers.”
A trip down Car-Mart memory lane
It’s been a lifetime of Car-Mart vehicles. They remember their first vehicle – a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup. Their favorite vehicle is their 2006 Chrysler 300.
“In Berryville, we were the first family that bought a vehicle there that was over $22,000 – a Lincoln Navigator,” says Heidi. “We had that car the longest.”
“Don’t forget that old grandpa truck,” laughs Mike.
“Or the yellow VW,” Heidi adds.
“Today, I’m absolutely in love with my Infiniti,” says Heidi, adding that the TV screens in the seats are great for their grandkids. Mike drives a 2010 Jeep Sport Wrangler. And they both drive their 2014 Dodge 2500 pickup.
“That truck has been all over. We have 13 grandkids, so we use that vehicle to visit them,” Mike says. “I want Heidi to have a dependable vehicle. That’s why we trade so much.”
Car-Mart is peace of mind
The Dudleys always buy the optional service contracts. “If something goes wrong, it gets fixed,” says Mike.
“The service contract covers a ton of stuff. I don’t have to worry about most things that may go wrong. I call them up, and they [Car-Mart] take care of it,” Heidi adds.
“And when something goes wrong, Car-Mart is there to help us,” remarks Mike. “They’ll work with you because that’s what family does.”
Car-Mart is family
“We’re family,” says Heidi, who visits Car-Mart to make their payments. “They’ll offer you something to drink. There’s a TV for the kids. It’s just a relaxed feeling. They’ll ask about you and your family. They’re truly interested in you.”
“Car-Mart is loyal to us. We have such a good relationship with Car-Mart folks,” Mike adds. “They know us. They’ve watched our kids grow up and met many of our grandkids.”
They’ve also encouraged their four children to shop at Car-Mart. The Dudley’s four children grew up with Car-Mart vehicles, including Dillon, Sarah, Jessica, and Stephanie. Son Dillon, now 25 years old, was four when they bought their first car. Their daughters, Sarah and Jessica, have their own Car-Mart vehicles.
When they purchased their vehicles, Mike and Heidi explained what they were doing to their kids. “It was to make sure we could get them to school and band practice,” says Heidi. “They saw how important it was to make payments.”
It’s been great fun going down memory lane with Heidi and Mike. We’re delighted to have played a role in the Dudley’s lives. We’re thrilled they placed their trust in America’s Car-Mart for their vehicles. And we look forward to many more years of helping Heidi and Mike with their used vehicle needs! We’re here for them!
