As CEO Jeff Williams says, ‘there’s purpose in our work.’ This is who we are, and what we do. And 2022 was a true reflection of all that and more.
Let’s look at some of our company’s accomplishments in 2022.
- America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity by Newsweek. Car-Mart has been recognized for our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive culture, and to building a diverse workplace where everyone can thrive in their careers.
- AR 500 award. For the second consecutive year we were named to the AR 500 list. The most influential companies in the used car industry.
- New Leadership
- Doug Campbell as President
- Jules Gianneschi as Senior Vice President of People
- Holly Thomson as Chief Digital Officer. We welcomed new leadership to our team to help lead our company’s evolution and transformation
- Acquired Taylor Auto Credit, Taylor, Texas to our Car-Mart family.
- Steve Taylor, Director of Acquisitions, Steve joined Car-Mart to lead our acquisition strategy to help our company’s growth and evolution, and so we can help more customers.
- Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 2022 C-Suite Award Class. Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Williams, was named to the C-Suite award Class.
- Updated Facilities. We’re modernizing our facilities as part of our efforts to serve our customers at a higher level. New facilities in Siloam Springs, Ark., and Sedalia, Mo. We updated our buildings in Springfield South, Mo.; Van Buren, Ark.; Enterprise, Ala.; Brunswick, Ga.; Evansville, Ind.; and many more.
- Delivered over 25,000 toys to 28 children’s hospitals. As part of our Holiday Toy Drive we collected and donated toys. There’s nothing better than delivering smiles to kids in the hospital over the holidays.
Car-Mart of Bowling Green associates: David Huddleston, Sales Associate and Jesse Robb, General Manager Community Fan Drive. For over 25 years, we’ve conducted a fan drive to help people in need beat the heat during the hot summer months.
- $10,000 to the American Cancer Society. Through our Drive Away Cancer campaign.
- $10,000 contribution to Hope for Heroes, an organization focused on helping veterans and first responders heal their emotional and physical wounds through camouflage therapy.
- Our Associates. Associates like Archie Chambers and Lori Spencer celebrating 25 years, and Barry Baggett commemorating 30 years, that help make our company the best it can be.
- Diversity makes us better. We’re honored to share our associate stories for Black History Month – Mark Carlock, Women’s History Month – Charity Waters, and Hispanic Heritage Month – Zade Flores.
- Our customers are family. Their stories are our stories, and we’re always delighted to share their stories – Kimberley Black, Brenda Patterson, and Ricky and Robbie McKoy.
