Exciting things happen at America’s Car-Mart when you have awesome leaders like Kristi Carpenter. She’s our Chief Compliance Officer, and because of her outstanding leadership, she’s been named a 2023 Women in Retail Honoree by Auto Remarketing. This prestigious list recognizes top leaders on the retail side of the auto industry.
Kristi joined Car-Mart in 2013 and has helped grow and evolve our company’s compliance department. Kristi’s Compliance Team includes over 20 professionals who annually conduct multiple regulatory exams and over 900 compliance and financial audits.
She has over 20 years of legal and compliance experience. Kristi holds a Juris Doctorate degree and has been licensed to practice law in the state of Arkansas since 1999. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. She is a Certified anti-money laundering specialist, and a Certified Consumer Credit Compliance Professional.
